The first thing you'll notice when you visit Living Streams is a friendly welcome! Right inside the door are coffee and refreshments. Please help yourself. We know visiting a new church can be stressful, and we want to do everything we can to make you feel welcome.
As the worship service begins you will notice that we love to praise God by singing! Our regular worship leader is Tom Buchanan. Tom is an assistant professor of music at Cascade College, and he is accompanied by other talented singers. Here are the lyrics to one of Living Streams' favorite songs of praise:
Father God just for today
Help me walk your narrow way
Help me stand when I could fall
Lend me the strength to hear your callHere I am just for today
Live in me have your way
For my desire when this race is run
Is only to hear you say well doneMay my steps be worship
May my thoughts be praise
May my words bring honor
To your name (repeat)© 1995 Marc Schelske

After a while the children will be dismissed to their classes. Some of the best Bible class teachers anywhere are at Living Streams. If you would like to accompany your child, you are welcome to do so.
Each week we share in communion. This is a tradition started by our Lord Jesus. It's a time to remember that he died as a sin sacrifice for us. You are welcome to participate with us in eating the bread and drinking the grape juice, but don't feel pressured.
At Living Streams we have learned that God hears and answers our prayers. Each week we offer to pray for anyone with any request at all. If you would like us to pray for you, you can let us know on Sunday or visit our prayer request page.
Our preaching minister is Ken Hines. Ken's lessons are practical and Bible based, with supporting material from his life and study. He typically teaches in a series of 4-10 weeks. Click here for background information on Ken and his ministry.
We often use video clips as a teaching tool at Living Streams. Sometimes the clips are purchased, sometimes they are taken from a popular movie, and sometimes the clips are produced in house.
Two videos are available for you to view:
Note: These files are large, so a high speed connection is desirable. PowerPoint or PowerPoint viewer or compatible programs are required to view these videos. Download and unzip to view.
Each Sunday we take up a collection for our expenses and opportunities to serve. As a visitor you are not expected to contribute. Feel free just to pass the bag to the neighbor seated at your side.
Afterwards please sign our guest book if you haven't already. Having your address helps us to keep you informed of what's happening at Living Streams. Stick around and make some new friends. And have another cup of coffee on us! May God bless you.
