Ken Hines has been married to Sherri for 27 years. They have three children: Kelli, an aspiring writer who lives in Southern California, Amy, a sophomore psychology major in college, and Brad, a senior in high school.

Ken holds a Master of Missiology degree from Abilene Christian University and has 23 years of experience in full-time ministry. He entered the ministry so he could find more time and opportunities "to tell people that God loves them." Nearly 20 years of his experience has been in positions of leadership in growing churches in the Pacific Northwest and South America. Ken also ministers to a Spanish-speaking church on Sunday afternoons.

Ken also enjoys reading on a wide variety of subjects and travelling to other countries. His favorite TV shows are Monk, Medium, 24, and of course Monday Night Football. He is a big-time fan of the Denver Broncos and chicken enchiladas.
