What Sundays are Like

Each Sunday, we meet at someone's home to share a meal together, to share our faith in God together, and to share our lives together. The core of our worship and relationship with one another is centered in the teachings of Jesus:

"Love the Lord your God with all of your heart, with all of your soul, and with all of your mind."

"Love your neighbor as you love yourself."

The apostle John wrote:

Dear friends, we should love each other, because love comes from God. Everyone who loves has become God's child and knows God." (relationship)

Our time together typically looks something like this:

  • Relationship building/catching up/loving on each other time
  • Eating a meal together
  • Prayer
  • Singing songs of praise and worship
  • Reading and re-reading passages from the Word (Lectio Divina)
  • Reflection and sharing what the Spirit of God has put on our heart to take from the reading.
  • Sharing personal joys, blessings, challenges, and hurts
  • Sharing joys and concerns for others in our lives
  • Prayer
  • Sharing of Bread and Wine as we reflect on the birth, life, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ - Jesus is Lord!
  • Looking forward to the next time that we will come together

We encourage everyone in our group to worship with other faith communities on Sunday morning. We do not feel this is mandatory but it does give us different avenues of expression as we seek to worship Jesus Christ on the Lord's Day.

Come join us! We want to have a relationship with you.
